Overview

A 288-bed acute care hospital in Tallahassee, Florida is hiring Registered Nurses across emergency, critical care, medical-surgical, and case management departments.

Roles Currently Hiring

Emergency Room (ER) RN

• Days, nights, and mid shifts available

• Acute emergency care across a broad range of patient acuity

• 1 year recent acute care ER RN experience required

• Critical care background may also be considered

• BLS prior to start | ACLS, PALS, and NCI within 90 days

Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) RN

• Days, nights, and mid shifts available

• Community-based emergency setting within the same hospital system

• 1 year recent acute care ER RN experience required

• Critical care background may also be considered

• BLS prior to start | ACLS, PALS, and NCI within 90 days

Cardiac Surgery ICU (CSICU) RN

• Night shift only

• High-acuity post-surgical cardiac intensive care unit

• 1+ years acute care ICU or PCU experience required

• Specialty differential: +$2.50/hr

• BLS required | ACLS within 6 months | NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days

• CCRN preferred and required within 2 years

• BSN preferred

Med Telemetry / Neuro RN

• Days and nights available

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:6

• 1 year recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience required

• BLS current | ACLS preferred, required within 6 months

• BSN preferred

Med-Surg Oncology RN

• Days and nights available

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:6

• 1 year recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience required

• BLS current | ACLS preferred, required within 6 months

• BSN preferred

Med-Surg Orthopedic RN

• Days and nights available

• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5 to 1:6

• 1 year recent acute care Med-Surg RN experience required

• BLS current | ACLS preferred, required within 6 months

• BSN preferred

• Shadow interview required prior to offer

Case Manager RN

• Evening shift only: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM

• 1 weekend per 4-week schedule

• Non-bedside role focused on care coordination, utilization review, discharge planning, and patient throughput

• 3 years recent acute care case management experience preferred

• Also open to candidates with strong acute care backgrounds in Med-Surg, Tele, Neuro, ICU, PCU, or ED

• Home health or insurance case management backgrounds may be considered with prior acute care experience

• Certification in Case Management, Utilization Review, or Nursing preferred

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license

• Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60–90 days of hire

• Graduate of an accredited ASN, RN Diploma, or BSN nursing program

• BLS certification required

Most bedside roles follow three 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends.
