    Endoscopy Center of South Sacramento is looking to add a Full Time - Registered Nurse (RN) Endoscopy to join our team.

    At Endoscopy Center of South Sacramento , we believe health and care are inseparable. We are an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) providing Gastroenterology procedures in a high-quality, service oriented environment.

    What You Will Do (Job Summary):

    Responsible to plan, execute, and evaluate the nursing care given to patients in the Endoscopy nursing role. Provides patient care within the prevailing state standards of practice and according to the policies of the facility. Communicates appropriate information to other team members. Helps maintain equipment, supplies, and general cleanliness of the unit. May have additional responsibilities designated by the manager, which may include but are not limited to providing patient care in other peri-operative departments, serving on committees, participating in quality improvement projects.

    Hourly Range: $50 to $55 an hour, depending on experience

    Monday-Friday work schedule

    NO call required

    NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours

    Required Skills

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Graduate of a Professional School of Nursing

    • Current CA state licensure as a Registered Nurse

    • 1+ years nursing experience in critical care. Endoscopy experience preferred.

    • Current certification BCLS and ACLS.

    • Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients and others

    Qualifications:

    • Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state of WA
    • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU preferred.
    • Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred
    • Must have current BLS, ACLS and PALS
    • Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
    • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
    • Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
    • Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
