Position: Registered Nurse (RN) Instructor / Clinical Instructor
Location: Richmond, VA
Pay: $45–$55 per hour (based on education level and experience) or per class
Availability: Part-Time and Full-Time

Responsibilities
Clinical Instruction
Conduct clinical sessions with students, including 12-hour shifts starting at 5:45 AM or 6:15 AM, serving as a hands-on Clinical Instructor in real-world healthcare settings
Maintain a 1:10 instructor-to-student ratio to ensure individualized guidance and support
Teach core nursing fundamentals and advanced clinical skills in live patient care environments
Provide hands-on training in patient care, including bathing, IV therapy, medication administration, and patient assessments as a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Instructor
Classroom Teaching
Facilitate 15-week classes for Practical Nursing (PN) and nursing degree students, delivering structured lessons as a professional Registered Nurse (RN) Instructor
Proctor exams, quizzes, and skills assessments to ensure academic integrity and progress
Offer feedback, mentorship, and academic support in collaboration with fellow Clinical Instructor staff
Required Qualifications
Education: Minimum 2-year BSN
License: Current RN license in good standing in Virginia
Certifications: Current CPR Certification
Compliance: Up-to-date COVID vaccination, background check, and drug test (Castle Branch)
Experience: Infusion experience required for infusion visits; bilingual Spanish and weekend availability are a plus
Ability to work effectively as both a Registered Nurse (RN) Instructor and Clinical Instructor in classroom and clinical settings
Schedule & Compensation
Clinical Shifts: 12-hour shifts starting at 5:45 AM or 6:15 AM (flexible day and evening options)
Classes: Monday through Friday, 9-hour days for 15-week terms
Compensation Structure:
Hourly pay for clinical instruction and proctoring
Per-class pay for classroom teaching
