Bighorn Ridgerunners is hiring a Registered Nurse to support the New Sunrise Regional Treatment Center, a residential treatment facility serving Native adolescents in Pueblo of Acoma, New Mexico.

What You'll Do
As the RN, you'll support the clinical treatment team and provide professional nursing care in a residential treatment environment. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Performing nursing assessments and obtaining patient histories
- Supporting treatment planning and patient care coordination
- Administering medications and treatments as ordered
- Monitoring patient conditions and communicating changes to providers
- Measuring and documenting vital signs and clinical indicators
- Providing patient and family education
- Maintaining accurate and timely medical record documentation
- Supporting continuity of care with clinical staff
- Responding appropriately to urgent or emergency clinical situations
- Participating in meetings, required training, and quality improvement activities
- Respecting cultural, spiritual, and psychosocial needs of patients
Schedule
This is a full-time position, typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. , with a 30-minute lunch break. Federal holidays are excluded.
Requirements
Candidates must have:
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state, territory, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred/required per contract scope
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Ability to complete required background, fingerprinting, health, and facility onboarding requirements
- Strong documentation, communication, and care coordination skills
- Comfort working with adolescents in a residential behavioral health or substance use treatment setting
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS and/or PALS certification
- Experience in behavioral health, adolescent health, substance use treatment, residential treatment, IHS, Tribal health, or community health settings
- Trauma-informed care experience
- Familiarity with culturally responsive care

- $63.50 per hour
