    Job Description

    Position Summary

    A healthcare organization near Alachua is recruiting a Registered Nurse for its Renal & Vascular inpatient service line. This unit handles complex medical-surgical patients with significant renal impairment, vascular disease, and multi-system needs. Nurses on this floor play a vital role in stabilizing fluctuating conditions, coordinating care, and ensuring quality outcomes across a high-volume, 45-bed environment.

    Primary Duties

    • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluate patient progress

    • Implement individualized nursing interventions and care pathways

    • Support multidisciplinary coordination, including therapy and case management

    • Administer medications, access lines, and manage treatment orders

    • Educate patients and families regarding disease processes and discharge needs

    • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold compliance standards

    • Deliver efficient care within a fast-paced, resource-driven setting

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Florida/Compact RN license in good standing

    • A minimum of one year of RN experience; high-patient-ratio settings preferred

    • ADN or Diploma required; BSN preferred

    • BLS certification; NIHSS within 30 days of hire
