We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team and provide leadership in Home Care and Infusion Services. The RN Supervisor ensures the delivery of high‑quality, client‑centered care while maintaining compliance with North Carolina state regulations and agency policies.
The RN Supervisor provides clinical leadership and oversight of nursing and personal care services, including IV therapy, medication administration, and in‑home aide supervision. This role promotes teamwork, ensures quality care, and coordinates with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal client outcomes. Flexible schedule available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include
Conduct initial and ongoing nursing assessments to determine client needs and develop individualized Plans of Care (POC).
Provide and supervise skilled nursing services, including IV infusion therapy, wound care, and medication administration, in accordance with physician orders and agency policy.
Supervise LPNs, PCAs, and CNAs, ensuring proper delegation and compliance with North Carolina’s nursing scope of practice.
Perform supervisory and competency visits for staff per regulatory guidelines.
Ensure complete and accurate documentation in client charts and electronic health records.
Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and infusion partners to ensure safe and effective home infusion therapy.
Work closely with Occupational Therapists (OTs), Physical Therapists (PTs), and other disciplines to coordinate interdisciplinary client care.
Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and families while demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and a positive approach in all interactions.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Licensure: Must hold a current, active RN license in the State of North Carolina, free of any restrictions.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience, preferably in home health, infusion therapy, or a supervisory role.
Certifications:
Current CPR/BLS certification (ACLS preferred).
Additional applicable certifications (e.g., wound care, IV therapy) a plus.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong clinical assessment, critical‑thinking, and care‑planning skills.
Proficiency with electronic health records (EHRs) and mobile documentation systems.
Working knowledge of state and federal home care regulations and nursing standards of practice.
Demonstrated ability to delegate, teach, and supervise unlicensed staff effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a compassionate, professional demeanor.
Other Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance.
Ability to travel locally to clients’ homes and complete supervisory visits as required.
Must successfully pass a criminal background check, drug screening, and reference verification
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience as an RN Supervisor, Case Manager, or Director of Clinical Services in home care or infusion therapy.
Familiarity with Medicaid PCS, CAP, and private‑pay home care programs.
Experience coordinating interdisciplinary teams in home or community‑based settings.
