An individual who has graduated from a nursing program and who has passed a national licensing exam.

Essential Duties Include:

Assist in delivering a range of psychiatric treatments and services, including psychotropic medication management and group counseling.

Conduct initial patient assessments and assist in developing individualized care plans under the direction of a psychiatrist.

Administer prescribed medications and monitor for efficacy and potential side effects.

Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and manage necessary referrals to ensure continuity of care.
