Job Summary

Imperial Home Health is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to conduct supervisory visits for our non-medical home care clients. This role is strictly for Supervisory Visits—ensuring our Attendants (PAs) are following the Plan of Care and that our clients are receiving high-quality service.

This is a flexible, PRN per-visit position, perfect for nurses looking for supplemental income with a schedule they can control.

Key Responsibilities

In-Home Oversight: Conduct scheduled supervisory visits to evaluate the quality of care provided by PAs.

Compliance & Documentation: Accurately complete all HHSC-required supervisory paperwork during or immediately following the visit.

Plan of Care Review: Verify that the current Plan of Care is effective and report any needed adjustments to the office.

Field Training: Provide on-site feedback, guidance, or retraining to attendants to ensure agency standards are met.

Client Advocacy: Promptly communicate any changes in the client's health, environment, or social needs to the agency management.

Qualifications

License: Active, unencumbered Texas RN License(Required).

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience; Home Health or HHSC non-medical regulation experience is a major plus.

Reliability: Valid Driver’s License, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance (Required).

Skills: Strong clinical observation skills and the ability to work independently without direct supervision.

Communication: Must be able to document clearly and communicate professionally with both families and office staff.

Compensation & Schedule

Rate: $50.00 per completed supervisory visit (Note: Hourly rate listed on Indeed is for posting purposes only, pay is per visit).

Schedule: PRN / Flexible. You coordinate your visit times based on client availability and agency deadlines.

Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly.
