    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with specialized experience in wound care to join our clinical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality wound care services to patients, including assessment, treatment, monitoring, and documentation of chronic, surgical, and acute wounds.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform wound assessments and develop individualized wound care plans in coordination with the supervising RN and/or physician.

    Clean, dress, and monitor wounds using appropriate techniques and products.

    Document wound measurements, drainage, healing progress, and changes in condition.

    Administer prescribed medications and topical treatments related to wound care.

    Educate patients and families on wound prevention and treatment.

    Follow infection control protocols and wound care standards of practice.

    Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and families.

    Monitor and report signs of infection or complications promptly.

    Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory standards.

    Qualifications:

    Current, active RN or LPN license in the state of GA or a compact license.

    Minimum 1 year of experience in wound care preferred.

    Wound Care Certification (WCC, CWCA, or similar) preferred but not required.

    Current CPR/BLS certification.

    Knowledge of wound vacs, pressure injury staging, dressing selection, and skin integrity protocols.

    Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.

    Work Environment:

    Involves travel to patient homes or skilled nursing facilities.

    Requires physical activity including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods..
