    Our patients require around-the-clock, high-quality nursing care. That’s why we offer flexible day and night shift options (7:00 am–7:00 pm or 7:00 pm–7:00 am), seven days a week. This position is designed to fit your lifestyle while ensuring that our families receive the compassionate support they depend on.

    What You’ll Do

    As a valued member of our care team—under the guidance of the Director of Nursing—you will help restore and promote the health of pediatric patients with complex medical needs. You will collaborate closely with physicians, multidisciplinary team members, and families while providing both physical and emotional support.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Support daily rehabilitation activities, including helping patients build social and daily living skills
    • Provide hands-on personal care: oral hygiene, bathing, grooming, nail care, dressing, diapering
    • Deliver essential mobility support: repositioning, ambulation, wheelchair transfers, and assistance with elimination needs
    • Administer medications (oral, enteral, subcutaneous) and monitor patient responses
    • Observe and monitor patient behavior, safety, and well-being within the home setting
    • Review and maintain MAR documentation for accuracy
    • Travel to patient homes as needed

    Required Experience & Skills

    We are committed to providing the highest quality care. To ensure this, applicants must have experience working with medically complex pediatric patients.

    Essential Requirements

    • Valid Florida RN or LPN license
    • CPR & First Aid certifications
    • Ability to pass a Level II background screening
    • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs safely on a regular basis
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Strong time-management, documentation, and attention to detail
    • Solid knowledge of nursing techniques, medications, and patient care procedures

    Required Clinical Experience

    You must have experience with:

    • Tube feeding
    • Tracheostomy care
    • Wound care
    • Neurological conditions (including seizure management)
    • Oxygen dependence
    • IV therapy

    Highly Preferred Experience

    While not required, applicants with these competencies will be strong fits for our team:

    • Prematurity and post-discharge care
    • Chronic lung disease
    • Feeding support (suck/swallow)
    • Insulin-dependent diabetes
    • Failure to thrive
    • Immune deficiencies
    • Renal failure
    • Spina Bifida
    • Pre/post organ transplant
    • Genetic and rare disorders
    • Post-surgical care
    • Colostomy/ileostomy care
