About the Role:

Align Integrated Care PLLC is looking for a compassionate and driven Registered Peer Recovery Specialist to join our team in Sandston, VA. Responsibilities:

Provide peer support and mentorship to individuals in substance use or mental health recovery programs

Assist clients in developing individualized recovery plans and setting personal goals

Connect clients with community resources, support groups, and social services

Facilitate recovery-oriented group sessions and one-on-one peer coaching meetings

Document client interactions, progress notes, and service activities in accordance with agency standards

Advocate for clients' needs within the care team and broader community

Model recovery principles and promote a culture of hope, empowerment, and wellness

Requirements:

Active Virginia Registered Peer Recovery Specialist (RPRS) certification required

Personal lived experience with substance use or mental health recovery

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a non-judgmental approach

Familiarity with community resources, recovery support services, and harm reduction principles

Ability to maintain professional boundaries while building authentic peer relationships

Basic computer proficiency for documentation and electronic health records

Reliable transportation and ability to work in the Sandston, VA area
