The Role

Wuest Group Engineering & Survey is seeking a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) specializing in commercial projects. This role is essential to our integrated workflow, providing professional survey services both directly to our clients and in support of our internal civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities include:

Oversight & Certification: Reviewing and sealing surveys with a commitment to accuracy and industry standards.

Team Leadership: Training and mentoring junior staff while fostering a collaborative environment.

Process Management: Working with leadership to implement and maintain procedures and standards for the survey team.

Project Coordination: Prioritizing project tasks, managing resource requirements, and coordinating deadlines with the engineering team.

Business Development: Assisting in growing our survey presence and maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements

Licensure: Must be a Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in the state of Texas.

Industry Experience: Extensive experience performing surveys specifically for civil engineering and commercial land development purposes.

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage schedules, resource requirements, and team communication effectively.

This is a full-time position onsite at our office located in the North Loop /Mueller area of Austin. Applicants must live in the Austin area and have reliable transportation.
