Overview

We are hiring Registered Respiratory Therapists to join a collaborative acute care team in Fredericksburg, Virginia. This role provides exposure across emergency, critical care, and inpatient settings, with access to advanced respiratory technology and strong clinical support.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessments including breath sounds, airway evaluation, and clinical status monitoring

• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and airway clearance treatments

• Manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation, including setup, monitoring, and adjustments

• Assist with intubations and artificial airway management

• Respond to respiratory emergencies and rapid clinical changes

• Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and therapies

• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support treatment plans

• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment to ensure safety and readiness

• Support neonatal and critical care needs as required

Qualifications

Required

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license (or eligible)

• Associate degree, vocational training, or certificate in respiratory therapy

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire

Preferred

• Prior hospital or acute care respiratory therapy experience

• Experience with ventilator management and critical care patients
