Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assess and evaluate the condition of surfaces to be reglazed. Surfaces include bathtubs, sinks, tiles, and other fixtures
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and smoothing to ensure proper adhesion of materials
- Apply reglazing solutions and coatings using appropriate techniques and tools
- Conduct quality checks to ensure a flawless finish and client satisfaction
- Follow safety procedures and protocols to maintain a safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations
- Maintain equipment and supplies, ensuring proper usage and storage
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and safety regulations
- Some travel may be required
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in a related field is a plus
- Proven experience as a Reglazing Technician or in a similar role (1 year or more preferred)
- Knowledge of reglazing materials, techniques, and best practices
- Proficient in using tools and equipment related to reglazing and surface preparation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks as required
