Job Description
We have an opportunity for a highly motivated, quality driven Business Analyst to expand and maintain our analytical systems in support of the exciting, continued growth of Reguard. You’ll be responsible for capturing requirements for new features and products as well as building, maintaining, and visualizing company data using software tools and delivering dashboards and graphical presentations to executives and stakeholders. Project organization and management skills are a huge plus. Your insights will directly impact and shape the future of our organization! This position reports to our Director of Finance.
Key Responsibilities
Identify trends and data anomalies in reporting both internally and with our commercial partners.
Compile, analyze and interpret complex data to identify trends and troubleshoot issues.
Monitor business performance and research variances to plan and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.
Capturing requirements for features and new products.
Develop and manage business intelligence systems relating to data modeling, analysis and data visualization.
Create executive level presentations that represent the current state of the business and forecasted outlook.
Partner with Reguard’s operational team and corporate clients to develop and continuously grow our analytical capabilities.
Work with the product team to develop a robust understanding of needs and opportunities to improve visibility to key business metrics.
Develop reports & dashboards for advanced analytics platforms.
Assess and implement business intelligence software, if needed, such as PowerBI or Tableau.
Act as SME to support business activities as needed.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, business analytics, or related field or equivalent applicable work experience.
3+ years of experience in operational, financial analysis, or management consulting.
Strong understanding of statistical and financial analysis with the ability to derive insights & conclusions from raw performance metrics.
Project Management experience is preferred.
Experience with business drivers, data focused, metric-oriented approach to support business partners in IT, Finance & Operations.
Demonstrated ability to utilize data visualization software such as PowerBi, Tableau, and Excel.
Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills
Experience with Confluence, Google Docs a plus.
Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure and Atlassian suites.
Prior experience in a startup environment is a plus.
Prior experience in management consulting is highly desired.
Autonomous self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and accountability.
