Waste Disposal Technician responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
· Packages expired chemicals for shipment or disposal.
· Empties satellite containers into bulk containers and takes back to laboratory for reuse.
· Maintains chemical storage area to keep it clutter-free and free of fire hazards.
· Ships hazardous waste from the laboratory prior to the RCRA time limit for the facility.
· Tracks volume of waste generated for reporting to corporate and EPA.
· Prepares and tracks implementation of Waste Minimization Plan.
· Orders and maintains chemical inventory for the laboratory.
· Manages consignment room to keep all laboratory areas supplied.
· Provides assistance to other departments/areas as needed.

The ideal candidate would possess :
· Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
· Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
· Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
Basic Minimum Qualifications :
· High School Diploma or Equivalent
· Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Additional Information
· Employee would start as a Technician, and be expected to complete RCRA and DOT/IATA training and certification, paid for by Eurofins, within the first 90 days.
· Upon completion of training and certification, contingent on good performance, the employee will receive a commensurate pay increase.
Position is full-time, working 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Monday-Friday, some weekend required overtime as needed. ** __** Candidates currently living within commutable distance to Lancaster, PA **** are encouraged to apply.
