Regulatory Program Manager

SRE Engineering is seeking a Regulatory Program Manager to support an upcoming NYC DEP infrastructure project, ensuring the project stays in step with the regulatory framework governing the site.

What you'll do

Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable Judicial, Federal, or State consent decrees, judgments, or orders tied to the project

Track regulatory deliverables and deadlines and communicate status to the Construction Manager and DEP

Serve as the point of coordination between the project team and the regulatory agencies overseeing compliance

Support documentation and reporting needed to demonstrate compliance throughout construction

What you bring

Experience with NYCDEP environmental or water quality regulatory compliance, ideally involving consent decrees or federal/state enforcement actions

Familiarity with Safe Drinking Water Act programs or comparable regulatory frameworks

Strong written communication skills for regulatory reporting and agency coordination

Reliable personal vehicle required, as this role requires site travel
