Title: Physical Therapist

Location: Fargo, ND

Overview: We are looking for a full-time, Physical Therapist at our multi-disciplinary clinic. This position will be treating at a Senior Living community, in addition to some home health patients as well. The PT is responsible for the evaluation, treatment planning and implementation of treatment for patients injured, ill, or disabled patients through the therapeutic use of everyday activities. You will help these patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working. Assist in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs beneficial for the enhancement of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to determine their physical condition, limitations, medical histories and personal goals
• Communicate with physicians and other health care providers to confirm plans of care
• Advise family members and other supportive individuals about the level of care the patient needs
• Provide occupational therapy guidance, support and education during patient sessions
• Teach patients how to interact with adaptive technology
• Show patients how to use assistive devices
• Recommend purchase products to help them achieve their goals
• Guide patients through graded activities
• Generate reports for patients and their physicians and families

Education & Experience:

• Licensed Physical Therapist required by the state
• Graduated from a physical therapy curriculum approved by the American Physical Therapy Association required
