Role Overview

As a Clerical Support team member, you will provide essential clerical support for the Physical Rehabilitation Services product lines and assist with routine patient care. Your role is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction and competent interaction with a diverse patient population. You will work under direct supervision, contributing to the smooth operation of our rehabilitation services.

What You Will Do

• Provide clerical support for the Physical Rehabilitation Service product lines.
• Assist with routine patient care, ensuring a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Effectively communicate with customers and co-workers, both in person and by telephone.
• Utilize the hospital order communication system and software programs for patient registration, verification, and scheduling.
• Operate standard office equipment, including copy and FAX machines, computers, and more.
• Maintain strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• A minimum of one year experience using a patient registration, verification & scheduling system, preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively greet and communicate (in person and by telephone) with customers and co-workers.
• Basic computer skills to allow use of hospital order communication system and software programs.
• Use of standard office equipment (e.g. copy and FAX machines, computers, etc.)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in an environment with multiple interruptions.
• Willingness to learn new skills needed to perform job.
