Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapists (CCRT) who will be responsible for overseeing our Enhancement programs which you should expect to include a comprehensive musculoskeletal evaluation, including:

Pain Evaluation

Functional Evaluation (lameness evaluation, strength, and activities of daily living)

Myofascial Examination (muscle flexibility, muscle atrophy, muscle dysfunction, trigger points, and adhesions)

Joint Mobility Assessment

Orthopedic Evaluation (special tests and joint range of motion)

Neurologic Evaluation (proprioception, balance, reflexes, and muscle control)

Athletic Ability (endurance, strength, cardiovascular health, and agility

The ideal candidate has previous experience in both management and rehabilitation, has strong communication and interpersonal skills, and truly enjoys helping others live their best lives.

Responsibilities

Developing treatment plans: Creating individualized plans based on assessments and veterinary recommendations

Performing treatments: Carrying out therapeutic exercises, hydrotherapy, massages, and other rehabilitative methods

Assessing patients: Evaluating dogs' strength, flexibility, joint range of motion, and other factors to determine their rehabilitation needs

Monitoring progress: Keeping track of patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed

Educating owners: Teaching pet owners how to perform home exercises and care techniques

Keeping records: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications

Previous experience with rehabilitation or equivalent field desired

Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) Certification

Certified Canine Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician or Nurse (CCRVT OR CCRVN)

Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant (CCRA) Certification

Strong attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compassionate, caring attitude towards all patients

Certified Canine Rehabilitation Assistant (CCRA) Certification
