We are looking for a Ops Manager to run our grounds maintenance/snow crews in our Peoria branch. The person would need a strong work ethic with the willingness to coach and encourage their team. Ideally this person is a self starter that is highly motivated. Who can lead a team keeping within budgeted hours while not sacrificing quality or morale.

Description:

This position would be responsible for managing the crews that will perform all grounds maintenance/snow removal services for our customers in the Peoria area. This includes managing their daily routines as well as developing them as employees. Some tasks that would be required but are not limited to:

Daily:

Manage all crew leaders and crew members

Make snow/rain/work decision

Board meeting with Ops Manager, Crew Leaders and Project Manager

Review schedule at end of day

Ensure efficient crew leader start up

Visit Crews

Review crews time allotments. Hand held’s or paperwork

Use our software as a tool for daily employee time management and all other management functions

Weekly:

Quality audits/sales opportunities

Prepare and distribute weekly training module

Maintain all equipment on Fridays or rain day

Set up and help with weekly all-employee meetings

Scorecard meetings

Employee evaluations and hold One on Ones

Cleanliness of the physical property, office and equipment

Annual:

Responsible for MT operations during the spring, summer and fall

Responsible for Snow Removal Operations during the winter

Responsible for sales process support in the winter and next season prep.

Expectations:

Your Salary is based on a 45 hour per week average. Some weeks you will work less than 45, some weeks you will work more. Throughout the course of the year it will average out.
