What You’ll Do:

RMG is looking for a Staff Editor to assist in overseeing our suite of sites with a focus on coverage of international investing, including stock trading and forex trading. Known for our best-in-class reviews and analysis, RMG is proud to rank as a global expert in the field. Previous prowess in the land of forex trading is not required, as we have aces on staff who can help you level up. Curiosity, however, is a must.

You’ll collaborate with the Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, Senior Editor, staff writers, content strategists, and SEO experts to shape content that competes with some of the largest content brands in the world.

You should be naturally curious, obsessively detail-oriented, and abundantly passionate about all things related to language, brand voice, and the occasional Reddit-driven market anomaly. And, as is so true at companies these days, you should be comfortable wearing multiple hats and rolling up your sleeves to contribute to broader company efforts.

The Staff Editor will:

Work with staff writers to publish in-depth guides, articles, and reviews of financial products and services.

Edit, revise, rewrite, and publish copy while upholding SEO best practices and adhering to in-house guidelines for style and voice.

Assist with creating and updating content in our custom CMS.

Oversee the execution of both short- and long-term editorial assignments and assist with the maintenance of editorial calendars.

Note: Responsibilities may be modified, added, or removed by a Managing Partner as needed.

What You’ll Need:

Required:

4+ years of overall editing experience.

Curiosity about investing and global trading platforms.

Experience articulating complex financial topics in layperson terms.

Experience managing projects that require organizing, executing, and reporting.

Ample experience working with Google Suite and its editor-focused features.

Effective written and oral communication skills, including the ability to provide positive, clear feedback to staff writers.

Obsessive attention to detail and mad organizational skills.

Self-discipline and internal motivation.

Experience working remotely.

The ability to handle deadlines with good grace and humor.

Desired:

Experience in executing long-term, multi-month editorial assignments.

Prior experience with SEO.

Familiarity with HTML.

A passion for teamwork and taking initiative.

This will be a full-time, salaried, exempt position. It is also an at-will position, subject to termination by either the employee or Reink Media at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice.
