    JOB SUMMARY

    Reino Linen Service is searching for a full-time Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join the team at our Brownstown Plant location! The HR Assistant will work alongside the HR generalists and operations management in a fast-pace environment utilizing various HR skills including but not limited to recruiting/onboarding, training, and employee relations. This position requires a high level of self-motivation and detail orientation to maintain daily needs.     RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1. Responsible for maintaining the employee experience for onboarding new employees through their introductory period. 

      1. Sourcing: review job postings/candidates for entry-level, professional, and technical job openings 
      2. Recruiting: review resumes/applications submitted, conduct phone screens, in-person interviews, and tours to candidates to match experience with specific job-related requirements. 
      3. Onboarding: assist new employee checkpoints  
      4. Process new hire paperwork/files

       

    2. Conduct exit interviews.  

    3. Facilitates or provides training to the workforce.  

    4. Maintains positive employee relations by coordinating employee recognition, incentive, and reward programs.  

    5. Maintain HR Administrative documents including employee records and I9 documentation. 

    6. Coach, counsel, and guide employees and management to communicate various human resource policies and procedures. 

    7. Maintain all attendance records, applicant data/tracking, and employee files. 

      1. Notify HR Generalist of any employees who violate attendance policy or require disciplinary action.

       

    8. Company-wide support for needed assistance. 

    9. All other duties as assigned.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Associates degree in human resources management or related field (bachelor's degree is preferred); Will consider candidates currently pursuing education/training in the human resources field 
    • Minimum of one year of experience in human resources role or related field
    • Strong understanding of HR best practices
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and related software
    • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
