We are a NYC based boutique accounting firm that prides itself on our ability work closely with our clients to develop a complete understanding of their goals and objectives.

The right fit will be person who is looking to develop their skillsets and take on growth-oriented responsibilities to benefit themselves, the clients and the firm.

This position will be responsible for providing professional tax and accounting services to our clients, including preparing and reviewing tax returns, compliance with local, state and federal requirements, monitoring of client’s accounting operations which include; accounting processes and procedures, financial and GAAP accounting, internal controls, periodic reporting statements.

Skills:

Excellent organization and time management skills. Proficiency in general bookkeeping, accounting and tax preparation software, good decision-making abilities, verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving and analytical skills. Candidate should be capable of multi-tasking, working well with deadlines.

Specific work elements:

· Build relationships to ensure excellent client service through an integrated service approach

· Respectfully respond to tax services and federal and state tax compliance client needs

· Learn and develop tax and accounting knowledge and changes in practice processes

· Prepare business and related personal tax returns.

· Comply with local, state, and federal government requirements.

Job Type: Full-time: 3-5 years tax experience

Salary: From $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

· New York, NY 10170:

· Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

· Bachelor's in Accounting

License/Certification:

· NYS Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent desirable

· Certified Bookkeeper with strong tax prep
