    Job Title: Medical Assistant/Regenerative Medicine Communication Specialist Created: August 2019

    Department: Clinic

    Reports To: COO

    FLSA: Non-Exempt/Part-Time and/or Full-time 32-40 hours/week

    Summary: Assists Providers with patient evaluation and treatment. Additional responsibility is to educate and communicate with patients on all aspects of medical care

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following. .

    Clinical

    Provides precise, timely, friendly, confident and “Whtie Glove Customer Service” to patients, case managers, adjusters, and team members

    Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat, clean and sterile as possible

    Calmly communicates and facilitates a comfortable and amazing patient experience

    Rooms and Interviews patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital signs, weight and height

    Answers all Medical Assistant calls in a timely manner and before days end that meets the expectations of a world-class experience for all parties

    Authorize drug refills and provides prescription information to pharmacies via provider orders

    Prepares chart with, previous OV notes of importance, labs, images or necessary documents during all clinic visits

    Creates half office charts and starts and ends each visit

    Exhibit stellar customer service and professionalism to both internal/external clients

    Educate patients with physician recommended treatment plans to feel great about all next steps of care in all regards of Regenerative and Transformative Health Programs

    Prep all needs regarding regenerative medicine procedures

    Schedule appointments with enthusiasm and for clinic flow efficiency

    Patient Education and Intake Specialist dedicated to assisting prospective patients towards understanding Katalyst’s unique difference and offerings

    Patient follow up for optimal “White Glove Patient Service” and outcome reporting communication

    Operate multi line phone system – direct calls, take messages, and relay appropriately and timely – meet or exceed departmental goals

    Precisely verify appropriate patient notes, medication lists and surgery schedule coordination

    Read and respond to email messages professionally and timely

    Operate existing software by inputting company dashboard data and coordinate customer relation email management system

    Coordinate the provider schedule amongst the appropriate surgery centers

    Perform Workers Compensation & BCBS precertification process while exhibiting calm, confident, friendly and efficient communication

    Forward Office Visit notes

    Print medical records

    Inventory front office supplies

    Conform to complaint resolution process

    Prepare Weekly Team Meeting Agenda and meeting minutes to facilitate a strong team culture of teamwork, focus, problem-solving, accountability.and implementation

    Cross-train the Patient Care Coordinator position based on staffing and volume demands.

    Language Ability:

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and order processing system.

    Education/Experience:

    Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university in athletic training or exercise physiology; and no less than one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Required Certificates and/or Licenses for applicant to be reviewed:

    Registered Board of Medical Licensure as CMA, LPN or RN, orCertified Athletic Trainer

    Prefered Qualifications: Successful Customer Service, Retail, Sales or Call Center Experience
