Job Title: Fitness Front Desk Revised: August 2019

Reports To: Integration Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly/Part-time (with potential for full-time)
Summary: Performs front desk operations in certain aspects to service our Fitness Clientele
*Hours and needs vary – weekdays, weekends, Holidays
*Primarily evening hours and weekend shifts
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Exhibit stellar customer service and professionalism to both internal/external clients
Operate multi line phone system – direct calls, take messages, and relay appropriately and timely
Schedule client appointments, calls, and follow ups. Take cancellation list and reschedule promptly to be proactive with Provider schedules.
Read and respond to email messages professionally and timely
Check in patients, clients, and consults. Confirm client accounts and information is accurate and current
Ensure cleanliness and tidiness for front lobby area and fitness gym area as needed, walking the area regularly to ensure comfort for clients
Face, and restock inventory as needed – coordinate with retail manager
Enter agreements and changes, approve or void contracts as needed with manager’s approval
Balance register – assist with bank deposit if guided
Process point of sale – collect balances upon check ins of clients
Coordinate water, fruit, and patient/lobby needs for comfort and best experience
Develop positive relationships with clients
Attend and participate in meetings as requested, follow through/initiatives
Perform opening duties (when applicable) including, but not limited to:
Turning on lights, TV’s, computers and other necessary equipment. Logging into systems.
Ensuring lobby, locker rooms, workroom, etc. are ready for use.
Tidying and restocking needed items. Preparing coffees, waters for the day (if applicable).
Unlocking building at start time of day.
Perform closing duties (when applicable) including, but not limited to:
Closing out the till.
Logging out of systems. Turning off lights, TV’s, computer and other necessary equipment.
Finishing cleaning tasks.
Locking all doors to the building.
Assist in documenting processes/forwarding to HR for recording and filing
Takes breaks appropriately and with thorough communication. Breaks are to be encouraged, however business/staffing needs will prevail. Flexibility is necessary.
Using work time efficiently and responsibly. When an opportunity arises to take on additional tasks whether small or large timeframe, communicating with Management.
Create a Unity within the TEAM. Individual performance is necessary. TEAM performance is paramount.
Shine. Internal customers (co-workers) and patient interaction via in person, phone, email – display professionalism and positive demeanor consistently.

Qualifications:

Language Ability:

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training and college education; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates and Licenses:
Current CPR and AED certificate – preferred, not required
