    Position Location: Waite Park, MN

    Summary: Rejuv Medical is currently seeking a highly motivated Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for our fast growing, innovative, medical practice. This position is a combination of Functional Medicine with a specialty in Mental Health. The ideal candidate will have a background in mental health medicine, and interventions A basic understanding of functional medicine and how it interacts with the healing process is ideal.

    As a member of an independently, physician owned medical practice, a new Clinician will enjoy working in an environment where their voice matters in the overall structure of their medical practice. Located just 60 miles outside of the Twin Cities Metro area presents opportunities to enjoy the benefits of living close to a metropolitan area with a variety of activities while still being a part of a small, yet diverse community. Clinicians are supported by a care team along with un-capped potential for growth.

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Perform comprehensive assessments and physical exams, and order necessary diagnostic tests. 2. assess, diagnose and treat the mental health needs of patients.3. Provide physical and psychosocial assessments, emergency psychiatric care and treatment effectiveness evaluations.4. Formulate a positive, constructive and mutual respect with all team members5. Collaborate with members of entire care team to facilitate the best outcome for every patient6. Collaborate with member of management, participating in meeting and follow through with given responsibilities7. Assist in outside medical relations functions8. Encourage the utilization of all that Rejuv has to offer to support increased revenue and patient outcomes9. Treatment of Chronic pain with minimal or no use of addictive medications10. Other duties may be assigned

    Qualifications:

    Language Ability:

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    Math Ability:

    Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of written research.

    Computer Skills:

    To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.

    Education/Experience:Nurse Practitioner-Doctorate Degree from an accredited school. Physician Assistant- completed PA program from an accredited school. Must have at least one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Credentialing materials provided by employee to employer for verification process

    Certificates and Licenses:

    Current Minnesota DEA license is required.

    For NP’s -Must have and maintain nursing license and board certifications for RN and APNP.

    Certified as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Minnesota

    Authorization from the Minnesota Board of Nursing to prescribe drugs and therapeutic devices
