Summary:
Rejuv Medical is currently seeking a highly motivated Physical Therapist for our innovative, outpatient Orthopedic medical practice. Two years of outpatient orthopedic experience is preferred, but new graduates will be considered. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapy and either possess a Minnesota license or be able to obtain licensure.
As a team member of an independently, physician-owned medical practice, a new Physical Therapist will enjoy working in an environment where their voice matters in the overall structure of the treatment of their patients. With the Therapy department being an active part of the clinic, there is free-flowing interactions between clinicians and therapist helping to promote high quality of care. The ability to utilize additional equipment in the full-service gym provides you with the opportunities to maximize and obtain the best outcomes possible.

Duties and Responsibilities to include the following with other duties assigned necessary.
Review physician’s referral and patient’s medical records to help determine diagnosis and physical therapy treatment required
Perform and document an initial exam including health history, examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment plan, ongoing evaluation and education in electronic medical health record.
Plan, prepare, or carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients*
Identify and document goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation
Instruct patient and family in treatment procedures to be continued at home
Confer with the patient, medical practitioners, medical fitness specialists or appropriate others to plan, implement, or assess the intervention program
Prepares discharge summary and documents patient’s progress towards goals
Choose appropriate CPT codes/charges and associate correct diagnoses using ICD-10
Adhere to patient’s medical insurance rules and regulations; update documentation and charges as appropriate
Supervise Physical Therapist Assistant, supervise and instruct Physical Therapy Aide when applicable
Assist in developing training protocols/systems to help medical fitness specialists
Assist with development and grow the referrals sources with outside sourcing/outreach and networking*
Assist with marketing for the physical therapy department which includes but is not limited to local radio shows, videos, community presentations
Increase revenue for Rejuv with above programming and services
Qualifications:
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy; possess a current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist from the state of Minnesota or has the ability to obtain a Minnesota License
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from patients and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
Should have knowledge of Microsoft Office. Ability to learn how to document in electronic health records.
Education/Experience Required:
Graduate of an Accredited School of Physical Therapy
Prefer experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting, but not required.
Certificates and Licenses:
Must have an active MN state license.
Current CPR and
First Aid.
