    Job Description

    We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Release Manager to orchestrate and streamline our product release cycles at Redzone. This critical role will be the central point of coordination for our frequent releases, ensuring seamless collaboration between Engineering, Product, and other key teams. You will be instrumental in managing release risks, facilitating essential internal discussions, and ensuring clear and timely external communication through release notes. If you thrive on organization, are adept at managing complex processes, and have a proven track record of successful software releases, this is the role for you.

    This position is Full Time, Exempt, Remote and required to travel up to 10% of the time.

    Responsibilities

    • Partner closely with Engineering and Product teams to plan and coordinate all aspects of frequent software releases
    • Facilitate internal discussions regarding release risks, dependencies, and potential impacts, driving alignment and resolution across stakeholders
    • Coordinate and deliver high-quality external communication, including comprehensive release notes, to ensure customers are well-informed of new features and changes
    • Identify and communicate the need for customer webinars or other explanatory sessions based on release impact, ensuring appropriate support for new functionalities
    • Maintain a detailed release calendar and ensure all release-related activities are tracked and managed effectively using Jira
    • Develop and refine release processes to improve efficiency, predictability, and quality of releases
    • Ensure all necessary documentation, training materials, and support resources are prepared in conjunction with releases
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, comfortable facilitating discussions and building consensus across diverse teams
    • Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate release-related risks
    • Proactive mentality with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for release outcomes
    • Familiarity with Jira for backlog and release management

    Education/Experience

    Required:

    • 10+ Years of total professional experience
    • 3+ years of direct experience as a Release Manager
    • Demonstrated experience managing frequent software releases (quarterly, monthly, or more frequent cycles)
    • Experience working collaboratively with Engineering and Product teams
    • Experience in a software company, ideally with SaaS products
    • BA or BS Degree

    Desired:

    • Experience in a manufacturing technology environment

    Additional Information

    • Base pay range: $145,000-165,000 USD Annual (12 Months)
    • Placement within our pay range will vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and market location variations as well as internal peer equity.
    • This position is also eligible for an annual company performance bonus.
