Newsmakers Network - http://newsmakers.network is an online media company creating content for online platforms such as YouTube, Facebook and websites. Newsmakers Network is home to shows such as Political Radar, 1 Word Show, TCG Buzz and more. Our team produces original content for Newsmakers Network as well as our small business clients. We are looking for Show Host and Producers to help us expand our growing channel line-up in the technology, business, comedy and political space.
A Show Host and Producer will have an on-camera role including solo speaking content, leading of group discussions and conducting interviews. A Show Host and Producer will also have a behind-the-senses responsibility to develop content, recruit and schedule guests and assist in the marketing of the channel's content including being active on social media services.
Usually, a Show Host and Producer should have experience in relation to the issues is being discussed on the show and should be skilled in leading a discussion while focusing on the guests.
A Show Host and Producer will work with other departments within Newsmakers Network and ReleaseWire to bring in resources needed to increase visibility of the show.
Full-time, part-time and contact based positions are available in a variety of times at our West Allis, WI location.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Excellent verbal and communication skills
Must be punctual with excellent time management skills
Must be creative, imaginative and can exercise independent professional judgment.
Have an upbeat personality
Must have the ability to be current with relevant topics and current events
Schedule flexibility is a plus including availability on nights and weekends
Experience with audio/video production is a plus
Adhere to all guidelines, policies and procedures of ReleaseWire
