The primary purpose of the Video Editor position at our company, is to be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing video, audio and photo content for commercial, corporate and social purposes.
We are looking for a creative, passionate Video Editor with experience editing corporate videos from start to finish in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be a fast learner who is able to adapt to new equipment and software.
This is an immediate, part time position in our West Allis, WI office with a successful candidate being considered for full-time employment after 90 days. Those seeking a remote or freelance position will not be considered.
MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage all technical aspects of video recording
Edit, produce and upload high-quality, professional video on schedule
Work both on and off-site
Direct and produce content along with our production team
Work with our creative team to help them realize their vision for new content.
Take raw video and scripts or briefs and assemble finished products to the creative team's specifications
Add graphics and other special effects to videos if needed
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A successful candidate will be:
Proficient in Adobe Premier, Adobe After Effects, Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve
Experienced with camera operation
Experienced with audio and lighting equipment
Have excellent organization skills and demonstrate attention to detail
Understand online platforms such as YouTube and Facebook
ADDITIONAL SKILLS, WHICH ARE BENEFICIAL, INCLUDE:
Knowledge of video switching systems
Knowledge of motion graphics
Knowledge of color grading and color correction
