    STAFFING COORDINATOR

    REPORTS TO Branch Manager/Supervisor

    JOB DESCRIPTION (Please note that the responsibilities of this position will be trained easily upon start and throughout your employment with Reliable Staffing Resources)

    SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

    SPANISH/ENGLISH LANGUAGE SPEAKING ABILITY IS A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED FOR ALL STAFFING COORDINATOR POSITIONS!

    The Staffing Coordinator position is responsible for scouting, interviewing, assessing, sourcing, processing, assisting and hiring qualified candidates for placement. This position prefers considerable skill in interviewing techniques, a good knowledge of the needs of our customers, a basic understanding of the company's organizational structure as well as an extensive knowledge of personnel policy and procedure and federal and state laws regarding employment practices. The ideal candidate will possess a higher ability to communicate well both in-person, over the phone/emailing, and in-person.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    1. Greet all visitors with courtesy and respect. Answer and direct all incoming calls and route to the appropriate individuals. Ensure that all callers are handled in a professional and courteous manner. Troubleshoots to resolve any problems or complaints of customers or temporary employees.

    2. Obtains detailed assignment information from clientele and utilizes it to fill their labor needs. Coordinates with Branch Manager or Business Development Manager the best recruiting process to fill open positions.

    3. Post ads for open positions while ensuring proper ethical/professional verbiage, utilize social media communications to post/source/recruit candidates

    4. Source, recruit, cold call possible candidates to create a pool of applicants for high demand skilled areas.

    5. Screens and interviews applicants

    6. Assist in payroll functions to include essential paperwork handling: direct deposit supporting documents, paycheck/paystub/pay card/tax form handling

    7. Confirms pay rate, start date and job title are correct for each assignment. Also ensuring that the applicant can perform all functions/duties of the role prior to their intended start date.

    8. Extends verbal and written contingent job offers. Note in employee profile anytime work is offered and declined with the client’s name, assignment location, start date, pay rate and length of assignment.

    9. Work alongside management to maintain compliance through regular audits

    10. Assist employees with job related and pay related issues in timely manner.

    11. Efficiently and professional communicate with clients regarding individual accounts.

    12. Performs background checks, new-hire drug testing and safety equipment needs and assures deductions are added to the employee profile upon hire.

    13. Follow employment authorization compliance standards and laws while completing necessary on-boarding/new hire documents

    14. Assigns employees in Avionte the day sent or the day after once confirmation is received the employee worked. Start date should be first day worked.

    15. Provide tickets and employee work hours to payroll weekly.

    16. Utilize office spreadsheets for easy tracking for a variety of accounts, etc.

    17. Other duties/responsibilities may be added at the discretion of management in relation to branch/client/company needs.
