Men's Ministry Residency Details

Position Summary

The Men's Ministry Resident will be responsible for assisting in the planning, leadership, and execution of the Men's Ministry at TVC. The role will focus on helping create both forming and catalytic ministry and events to invite individuals deeper into life with God.

Job Responsibilities

• Help lead and execute ministry, including retreats, forums, Men's Bible Study, events for senior adults, and events for single adults
• Provide support for other formational/equipping classes
• Work with the Adults Ministry team to help bring cohesion to the discipleship pathway
• General ministry responsibilities as needed (hospital visits, weddings, funerals, etc.)
• Active involvement in the life of TVC, including staff meetings and events

Qualifications and Requirements

• Agree with The Village Church's Expectations of Membership and Statement of Faith and commit to exhibiting a lifestyle that is consistent with the same.
• High school diploma required
• Model the biblical character of a minister/deacon (1 Tim. 3)
• Experience in ministerial care, counsel, and/or direction
• Working knowledge of biblical theology
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Administrative and organizational skills
• Ability to work within the context of a team
• Flexible and adaptable
