Position: RN Manager - Medical Surgical Unit

Job Summary: As the RN Manager, you will provide nursing leadership, collaborating with physicians and other departments to coordinate patient care and safety. You'll manage resources responsibly, support the facility's mission and vision, and ensure quality care through performance improvement processes. With a focus on the Medical Surgical Unit, you will oversee a team of professionals and play a key role in maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing leadership for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care and safety.

Collaborate with physicians and other departments to coordinate patient needs and family support.

Manage resources in a fiscally responsible manner.

Support the mission and vision of the facility, division, and company.

Assure quality care through the initiation and evaluation of patient care using performance improvement processes.

Qualifications:

Associate or Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, BSN preferred.

Licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Missouri as a registered nurse is required.

Certifications in the area of specialty, BCLS, and ACLS are required and to be maintained.

Minimum 3 years of manager/charge experience and 2 years of staff nurse experience in the area of specialty (inpatient acute care units) required.
