Job Description

De Rigo Rem, a leading eyewear company in Sun Valley, CA is seeking an experienced, hands-on, high-energy Purchasing Clerk for Key Accounts.

The Purchasing Clerk will help ensure we have inventory to meet Key Account sales objectives. They will track the level of inventory compared to the number of sales, working to quickly turn around products, and will be working closely with the Key Account Sales team providing information and helping to understand the strategies for promotion and pricing based on current sales trends. This individual will also analyze data to help Purchasing, Sales and Product Development decide what products to buy based on past sales and market trend forecasts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inventory management and planning for key accounts.
• Develop with planning team optimal inventory levels for each key account.
• Analyze data and create weekly / monthly reports to monitor forecasts, inventory levels and fill rates for each key account.
• Provide analysis to Sales team regarding product performance, inventory and supply chain risks.
• Review and track all inbound orders for Key accounts to ensure on time deliveries.
• Work closely with factories to monitor delivery performance and develop action plans to avoid product delays.
• Monitor order allocations for key account business and adjust reserve stocks based on changing sales needs.
• Act as the point person between Purchasing, Sales and Product Development for Key Account business.
• Other projects and tasks as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

• College degree preferred with minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in supply planning, apparel/consumer goods industries preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables and advanced formulas, Word, MS Office, Outlook.
• Experience with SAP and/or Microsoft Navision is also a plus.
• Must have the ability to multi-task and work independently yet contribute as a team player.
• Must be flexible with work hours.
