RemX is seeking a PAYROLL CLERK to fill an immediate need with our client in the OTAY MESA area. This position is paying $19/HR+DOE and is contract to hire depending on performance. Must be BILINGUAL ENGLISH / SPANISH and experienced in ULTIPRO. Please read the details below and apply today if you are interested and meet the minimum qualifications!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Coordinate and process weekly multi-state payroll for 300-350ee’s in UltiPro: calculate hours and monitor payroll, workers compensation, vacation/sick time, etc.
• Monitor hours for lunches, breaks, and provide feedback to managers on audit findings to ensure adherence to CA L
• Manages all aspects in UltiPro
• Set up Benefits Administration and send notices to employees
• Handles garnishments and wage withholding notifications
• Act as point of contact for employees regarding Benefits questions
• Manages and maintains the timekeeping system
• All other general payroll and administrative duties as assigned
• Support the HR Generalist and HR Manager with ad hoc reporting and tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3-5 years payroll experience in UltiPro, preferable for a manufacturing industry experience
• Experienced with CA timekeeping payroll laws
• MUST be bilingual English / Spanish
• Some knowledge of Benefits administration is a plus
• Desire and willingness to learn
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
