Job Description

Seeking a competent and savvy Loan Processor who will evaluate whether or not the applicant has the legal capacity to enter into a loan agreement, perform income, property, and credit analysis on applications, conduct timely reviews of initial decisions and resubmissions of existing application files.

• Recognize potential red flags, inconsistencies within files documentation and other problem areas and initiate proper mitigation action.
• Set and shift priorities as needed, to work under time and deadline pressure, and to effectively manage a large workload.
• Analyze AVM, BPO and appraisals to confirm compliance to company standards and derive appropriate value.
• Analyze vesting information and determine the title and ownership of property.

REQUIRED:

• 2+ years mortgage loan processing experience
• Bilingual Spanish (fluent reading, writing, speaking)
• Proficient knowledge of related financial documentation and credit guidelines
• Thorough knowledge of loan requirements for various types of consumer installment
• Current knowledge of applicable lending regulations, including real estate secured, and consumer closed end credit
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
• Proficient with computer & internet usage and MS Office Suite
