REMX is interviewing qualified applicants for A SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR position. The candidate will be responsible for MAINTAINING A GROWING IT LAN INFRASTRUCTURE, NETWORK SECURITY ISSUES, AS WELL AS ASSOCIATED HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE. Onsite, essential, position located in Sorrento Valley area, preferred pay is 35/hr +/- DOE.  Necessary skills and experience include:

• Extensive experience with MICROSOFT WINDOWS SERVER 
• Strong knowledge of NETWORK SECURITY including experience with firewalls, DHCP and VPN
• Office 365 and Exchange online Mail Server
• DNS knowledge
• TCP/IP knowledge
• Experience with IIS AND APACHE

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive experience setting up and configuring machines
• Knowledge of data back-up
• Strong interpersonal skills
• 5 years of network administration experience desired
• Will assist IT Technicians when needed
