CONTROLLER**

We are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Controller to oversee the company financial operations. The Controller will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and some experience working with a manufacturer along with a strategic mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive financial updates to senior managers by evaluating, analyzing, and reporting appropriate data.
• Guide financial decisions by applying company policies and procedures.
• Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines.
• Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, and analysis.
• Maximize payroll efficiency through innovative process development.
• Help develop and support short- and long-term operational strategies.
• Maintain internal safeguards for revenue receipts, costs, and team and organizational budgets and actual expenditures.
• Establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, program monitoring, and reporting standards on biweekly, monthly, and annual basis.
• Implement consistent accounting policies, practices, and procedures across all programs,
• Develop and enforce internal controls to maximize protection of company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
• Oversee and support accounting team with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related is a plus!
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior financial position.
• Experience working the manufacturing industry is a plus!
• Proven experience in financial reporting, planning, budgeting, and risk management.
• Experience with compliance, and audits.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
