    Job Description

    • The Sr. Procurement Specialist works independently, confirms meeting objectives and delivery of procurement events.
    • As the primary project manager for high value complex cross-functional sourcing projects, this role is accountable for supplier selection process, integrity of RFx process, detailed analysis of supplier’s responses, contract negotiation, and legal and VCM coordination.
    • Additional deliverables include vendor performance and contract life cycle management.
    • PM for sourcing, RFP/Bids and contracting events and projects for assigned contracts/spend categories with a value of up to $10MM for each supplier.
    • Sourcing, supplier analysis and selection process, develop negotiation strategy, and contracting results.
    • Manage vendor contract life cycle, address supplier performance to ensure SLAs and quality requirements meet business needs.
    • Review and approved purchase requisitions, purchase orders and resolve exceptions.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • BS/BA in business, finance, economics, law or accounting preferred; or an equivalent level of combined experience and/or education.
    • Approx. 7-10 years of procurement experience, including managing RFx process, evaluating suppliers using a formal decision analysis process, negotiate supplier agreements, managing purchase orders and resolving exceptions.
    • ISM certification and/or project management experience is a plus.
    • Excellent written a verbal communication skills
    • Comfortable interacting with all levels, including senior management.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects in a dynamic and fast paced environment
    • Must be proactive, detailed/results oriented in a structured environment, and possess the highest ethical standards
    • MS office proficient, heavy knowledge of Excel (e.g., financial modeling) required
    • Knowledge and experience with consumer financial protection bureau regulations is a plus
    • Knowledge of and experience with procurement and systems such as PeopleSoft or Ariba
