Job Description

NorthCoast Preservation is the maintenance division of Re/Max Haven Realty Property Management, serving the greater Cleveland and Akron areas. The company has experienced tremendous growth over the last 10 years but needs new leadership to continue that growth through the next phase. The management company currently outsources over 65% of available maintenance and construction activity - giving NorthCoast the opportunity to quickly expand by capturing a larger share of the work through capacity expansion

THIS IS A NEW POSITION, RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: -P&L Responsibility for the company -Direct Supervision of 5-10 plumbers and general maintenance technicians to include site visits, troubleshooting and some scheduling -Grow capacity, sales and profitability -Work closely with management and customer service department of the management company to ensure resident and owners receive excellent service -Ensure proper and detailed written and photographic documentation of work completed.

• Assist in submitting estimates based on time, materials, & labor needed in a timely manner to accounting department (daily with the NcP techs)
• Assist in getting daily updates from techs and periodic check ins to see progress on jobs, work orders, feedback, etc. -Ensure legal compliance and a safe working environment

Our property management company has a full service turn-key, rehab and sales division that this position would work closely to help ensure the rehabs are running smoothly (vendor management - to include, but not limited to:  weekly check ins on progress, progress photos / stops at project sites, running spreadsheet of open rehabs/rent ready projects, etc). 

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: -A history of progressive career advancements -Demonstrated management experience including hiring, performance management, and terminating employment and the associated compliance & documentation of these activities -A WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF CONSTRUCTION AND/OR MAINTENANCE -PROJECT MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE A PLUS

Salary is negotiable but will be in the $40-50,000 range to begin, along with mileage compensation if you are using your own vehicle. Vacation time and health benefits are available. Company vehicle available during work hours - if needed as part of your employment (decent driving record and proof of insurance / valid license must be provided).
