PLUMBING SERVICE HANDS ON FIELD MANAGER

Remco, Inc. is an employee owned company and a well-established industry leading service provider who has been in business for 41 years. Our employees are servicing the Mid-Atlantic region out of 5 branch offices. Remco, Inc. is looking for a HANDS-ON WORKING FIELD MANAGER to support our Plumbing Services Department based out of our Richmond VA location. This position will manage the field service technicians while supporting our customer base. They will be a working lead and will develop technicians in the field. Develop and maintain customer relations through performing field service calls, as well as assisting the department manager with customer development and back office functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot and repairing plumbing leaks
• Hot water diagnosis and water heater installations
• Drain cleanings
• Ability to read plumbing blueprints and quote from them
• Visit job sites and quote work accordingly
• Managing projects including but not limited to digs/excavations, grease trap replacements, reclaim systems, gas pipe repairs, and sewage pumps replacements,
• Vacuum systems to include Jet Vac, Acorn, and EvacMust be able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma / GED
• 3-5 years of plumbing experience
• Have a solid understanding of I.P.C, Standard and Uniform Plumbing codes
• Master and or Journeyman’s Plumbing License Required
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
• Prior supervisory/leadership experience preferred
• Must maintain a professional appearance
• Must have a friendly, positive attitude and be able to work independently
• Must possess the ability to communicate with customers, dispatch and management effectively
• Must be able to support on-call hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
