Position: Supervisory Physician

Medicine has become a grind. Research shows that burnout among physicians has climbed to nearly 50%, and particularly among the front-line specialties like emergency medicine and family medicine.  It isn't just the EMR either. The pressure increasingly mounts to see more and more patients and spend less time with them. Patients are frustrated with poor access and a lousy experience, and you feel their frustration.

We utilize a team-based approach that makes sure your expertise is used to the maximum efficiency. Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and a dedicated team of Care Coordinators engage with our patients, and physicians serve in a supervisory role to maximize their effectiveness.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in an on-call schedule in order to be available to provide oversight and direction to Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) seeing patients
• Serve as supervising physician to a select number of APPs in accordance with state medical board regulations 
• Review charts on a monthly basis in accordance with Remedy chart review policy, providing feedback to APPs

REQUIREMENTS

We will consider any candidate who might be the right fit for our lead team. At a minimum, we require:

• Residency-trained in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine
• Experience supervising APPs and working within a care team
• Above average interpersonal skills and friendly disposition
• Basic G-Suite skills
• Ability to learn new skills on iOS devices with ease
• A passion for medicine and to provide Remedy patients with an incredible experience
• Ability to adapt to changing work responsibilities and policies as we grow
