    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    The Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for developing the marketing and brand positioning strategy, and sustainable B2B marketing campaigns, B2C enrollment marketing, and marketing to independent primary care groups as the company moves to its next stage of growth, and expansion into new markets. This leader will have deep expertise in B2B marketing while serving as the team's overall leader to further drive the Company's scale in the payer, employer and primary care space. The CMO will build and execute sustainable and scalable B2B marketing campaigns across all core market segments, including employer, payer, channels, and strategic partners. This role will lead the marketing automation to drive utilization and engagement within a B2B, PcP, and B2c population. 

    This executive will have extensive experience in overall corporate branding and product positioning while ensuring clear and differentiated messaging when targeting all B2B targets, including self-funded employers. This leader will have a strong understanding of brand positioning strategies, and a passion for creating innovative, unique approaches to delivering impactful customer experiences.  The CMO will provide expertise in developing compelling content that will be utilized across multiple channels while ensuring that the content is part of an overarching communication strategy. This individual will also be responsible for crafting and executing an effective lead generation strategy. The CMO must have commensurate executive presence required to lead marketing and communications efforts in such a way as to expand the Company's brand awareness with existing and potential clients, patients and partners, and to elevate a differentiated understanding of on-demand healthcare. This leader will have a sensitivity to healthcare/consumer data by understanding the complexity of employer, payer, channel, and partner markets. Importantly, this individual must be an exceptional team-builder and collaborator internally with other departments. The Chief Marketing Officer is a key member of the executive leadership team. 

    The Company is looking for a “hands-on,” passionate, and entrepreneurial executive with a marketing innovation mindset. The Chief Marketing Officer will be a confident self-starter with strong communication skills, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, promote collaboration, and proactive sharing of ideas and information. 

    Specific responsibilities will include:

    • Provide executive leadership of the entire marketing organization with a focus on establishing functional scale necessary to support rapid growth 
    • Develop a comprehensive brand strategy that effectively tells the Company story with best-in-class marketing initiatives grounded in insights across multiple segments 
    • Create and implement strategies to expand the company's reach through strong value propositions and differentiators for each target audience which are incorporated in a holistic way into sales messaging, omnichannel marketing, thought leadership, public relations and tracking of outcomes 
    • Lead B2B enterprise marketing, B2C enrollment marketing, and Demand Generation and in-house creative teams, pushing boundaries to deliver innovative marketing solutions coupled with flawless execution
    • Drive a marketing automation strategy to increase utilization and engagement within a B2B, PcP, and B2c population
    • Focus on developing B2B marketing core competence of the organization and managing the sales efforts to attract and activate new partnerships with the right employers, providers and consumers 
    • Embrace unique market opportunities and translate these into groundbreaking B2C, B2B, and B2B2C product offerings that resonate with the Company's customers and suppliers to drive business results 
    • Develop B2C marketing programs that accelerate the sales cycle by educating employers, health plans and participants about the value and ROI of the Company's product offerings 
    • Translate strategy into targeted sales collateral directed at both current and potential clients 
    • Apply metrics-driven approaches to research that will maximize marketing ROI and utilize this approach in developing and recommending future marketing budgets 
    • Serve as the voice of the customer (patients, employers, health plans, payers) and participants, using insights to drive marketing strategy and programs 
    • Take a leadership role in establishing a collaborative partnership to ensure alignment between sales and marketing across messaging, tools, and collateral 
    • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key influencers, industry thought leaders, customers, prospective customers, and critical strategic partners 
    • Provide leadership to the Company through a deep understanding of the consumer technology landscape and partner with the technology team on Digital marketing strategies  
    • Work closely with the CEO, Senior Leaders and Board of Directors in a rapid growth environment

    WHO YOU ARE

    • At least 15 years of executive-level marketing leadership driving significant growth and revenue in a high-growth, consumer technology environment, healthcare knowledge is a plus. Preferably worked at a venture-backed start-up, ideally at the Series B stage or later
    • Knowledge of employer, payer, channel and partner marketing in the world of consumer technology and services 
    • Understands enrollment marketing (B2C) and sales marketing (B2B) 
    • Possess the presence and intellectual strength to influence and align internal stakeholders around best-in-class marketing and go-to-market strategies 
    • A hands-on, servant leader who can strategize on the executive level and flawlessly execute complex marketing activities 
    • Confident self-starter known for establishing secure, trusted relationships with executives, who engenders confidence and provides innovative thought leadership 
    • Decisive, inspirational leader who can drive decision-making in a collaborative environment 
    • Inspires people through knowledge and marketing expertise, an impressive track record of accomplishment and an open, ego-less personal style that prompts followership 
    • Savvy in using data to deliver positive ROI, making decisions based on analytics and data to drive marketing efficiencies, effectiveness and collaboration 
    • Experience with digital marketing strategies and 
    • Exceptional leadership with strong coaching/mentorship-style. Ability to successfully lead multiple cross-functional teams aligning with a shared vision and objectives 
    • Ability to continually assess market developments, trends and other shifts, and work with executives and the Board to align growth plans 
    • Thrives in a dynamic start-up environment with change and ambiguity 
    • Located in or willing to relocate to Austin, Texas
