AS AN ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER, YOU WILL:
- Diagnose and treat routine medical conditions in kids and adults, and prescribe medications when necessary.
- Perform basic procedures like suturing, IM injections, IV fluids and phlebotomy.
- Operate under the guidelines and/or protocols set forth by the company
- Respond promptly and courteously to patients who call on Remedy for services.
- Properly document the patient encounter for good clinical documentation, reimbursement, and liability.
- Easily interact with EHR, Remedy app and mobile website.
- Stay current with all required licensing and certifications.
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current license from TMB with NCCPA Certification, or License from the Texas State Board of Nursing.
- MINIMUM 2 years urgent care or ER experience with excellent references.
- Great interpersonal skills and friendly disposition.
