SUMMARY

Remedy brings on-demand urgent care by a board-certified medical provider to you on your smartphone or at your home. We are changing the game for healthcare in Texas and beyond by bringing consumers a simple and convenient way to address minor emergencies and illnesses. Simply pull out your smartphone, request a doc, and we come to you.

Remedy is responding to the COVID-19 pandemic by operating open air sites where our providers evaluate patients in person in our clinic tents, and our med tech team performs testing in a drive thru lane. We are looking for an experienced nurse to supervise the open air drive thru site for certain hours of the day while our provider is dispatched out to see house calls in the surrounding areas.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

● Supervise and assist MA in collecting POC tests, COVID swabs, and blood samples in the drive thru lane

● Respond in rare case of emergency for any patient needing rapid assessment and triage to emergency department

● Perform venipuncture if MA's first attempt fails

● Assist central nurse triage team with lab result callbacks

● Assist with and/or handle lab specimen labeling and preparation

● Be familiar with the EHR, and assist in charting/documenting procedures on drive thru patients

● Understand applicable legal concepts such as HIPAA and patient confidentiality

● Assist with daily inventory of medical supplies and PPE, and ensure proper restocking of missing material

● Other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager or Director of Clinical Ops

REQUIREMENTS

● Active Texas RN license with the BON in good standing

● Experience in ER or ICU and/or triaging preferred but not required

● Great interpersonal skills and friendly, compassionate disposition

● Computer and iPad skills. Ability to learn an iPad based EHR and use it properly

● Ability to learn new skills and applications on iOS devices

● A passion for medicine and to provide Remedy patients with an incredible experience

● Requires occasional lifting. Ability to lift 20+ pounds unassisted.

● BLS CPR Certification

● Demonstrates ability to adapt to changing work responsibilities and policies as we grow

● Knowledge and demonstration of proper grammar and spelling in documentation, ability to write concisely, clearly and logically.
