Job Title: Injection Mold Maintenance Technician (Direct Hire)

Job Type: Full Time / Permanent / Direct Hire

Location: Syracuse NY

Shift: 3rd shift (10:45pm-7:15am)

Shift differential .50 for 2nd shift and .90 for 3rd shift 

40 hour work week

Pay: $21-34/hour DOE**

Essential job duties for this role will include:

• Conduct Preventive Maintenance on all main and auxiliary equipment in Blow / Injection molding depts.
• Work within established procedures and goals under PM Program including but not limited to:
• Inventory / Maintaining and repairing grinders / conveyors / dryers / hopper loaders and vacuum units – this includes ratio units
• Maintain all Oil and Water Units / Chillers and towers
• Updating and coordinating all PM Log books in accordance with ISO Standards
• Source all repair items and services for equipment
• Obtain quotes for pricing and availability and submit proper paperwork
• Establish a predictive maintenance program designed to ensure more efficient and effective operation of equipment
• Handle immediate repair needs and set up’s as needed

We’re looking for a Injection  Mold Maintenance Technician with the following background profile/skillset:

• Two (2) Years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, Electronics repairs
• Problem solving and solid computer experience required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Equivalent education and/or experience will be considered
