Internally known as an Accounting Specialist, this person will be responsible for facilitating the shipment of product to customers as per their orders and ensuring timely processing of payments, credits and collections. Job Title: Accounting Specialist

Job Type: Full-time/Direct Hire/On-Site

Hours: 1st Shift – Monday-Friday – 8 AM-4:30 PM

Pay: $50,000 - $53,000 annually, DOE

Specific functions for this Accounting Specialist will include:

• Entering customer info/orders into Sage 100
  
• Obtaining applicable freight rates and, when necessary, arranging for carrier pickup
• Processing USMCA documents and commercial invoices when needed
• Assembling shipping paperwork
• Invoicing customer orders subsequent to shipment
• Processing customer returns and credits with Sage 100
• Warehouse stock transfer processing
• Customer credit card processing
• Customer credit assessment and allowance
• Customer collections
  

We're looking for skills shipping/accounting professionals with the following background profile:

• HS Diploma required, advanced degree in Business, Logistics, Accounting or relevant field is ideal
• At least 2-3 years of prior experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of Sage 100 is preferred
