    Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer (Direct Hire)

    Job Type: Full Time / Direct Hire / Permanent

    Location: Rochester, NY

    Shift: Days

    Pay: $50K-$70K

    Essential job duties for this role will include:

    • Use existing and new metrics to identify opportunities for process and quality control improvements.
    • Develop creative new processes, fixturing, and infrastructure improvements to ease assembly complexity and improve efficiency.
    • Collaborate with Engineering and the Productization group to support introduction of new product including process development, documentation, and design for Manufacturability.
    • Make design for manufacturability improvement or error correction recommendations to Engineering on existing product, and lead and drive to completion, prioritize.
    • Under direction from Engineering, implement design changes and when directed create documentation package for release including ECN (Engineering Change Notice)

     

    We’re looking for Machinists with the following background profile/skillset:

    • Degree in Technical discipline or equivalent experience
    • Preference for BS degree in Engineering discipline
    • Working knowledge of manufacturing and assembly methods.
    • Strong understanding of mechanical and systems engineering concepts.
    • Understanding of troubleshooting and problem-solving fundamentals.
    • Ability to read Electrical Interconnects and Engineering Drawings
