Job Summary: Precision assembly of opto-mechanical assemblies. Ensure all assemblies are defect free, and troubleshoot if there are any deficiencies.

Responsibilities:

• Assembly and testing of opto-mechanical assemblies
• Account for tool, components and materials used for the assemblies
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness
• Support quality issues
• Support Engineering in helping transition new products to production
• Identify and eliminate sources of waste

Background Profile:

• Previous electro-mechanical assembly experience
• Experience with optics a plus!
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Ability to use metrology equipment including calipers, micrometers, dial indicators and gage blocks
